Assignment # 1 Choose a topic in the news that your are interested in and begin to research it. Make sure you have at least three different sources, and make sure one source is from right wing media and one from left wing media. I want you to take notes and present what you learned about the topic. Also, what are the different points of view and did you see any bias within the sources? Finally, do you have a stance on the issue? Some issues you can choose from (but you are not limited to) include: Taliban - and/or Afghanistan Critical Race Theory and Education Climate Change COVID-19 and vaccinations Women's Issues BLM Others.
News - pick something in the news this week and look at a print/media source from the following: The Guardian New York Times Washington Post Economist and at least one print source from outside of U.S.
