 So this week, I want you to do one of the following: 1) Work on independent research and writing. 2) Choose a topic in the news - this week and research it. Be able to talk about it next week. Make sure you look at more than four sources, and make sure at least two of those sources are from opposing sides. It could even be a local issue. Example (here are a couple of questions to consider): After the war in Afghanistan should the U.S. cut defense spending? Are the Abraham Accords worth saving? 10. Should more states follow California and New York in banning the sale of new fossil fuel vehicles by 2035?
